Dubuque is Named a All-America City

For the second time in five years, Dubuque has been named a 2012 All-America City based on its ambitious plan
to ensure that more children are reading at grade level by the end of third grade. The All-America City award recognizes communities whose citizens work together to identify and tackle community-wide challenges and achieve uncommon results. Awarded by the National Civic League, it is the nation’s most prestigious and oldest civic recognition program.
