$6.5 billion are spent on goods and services from vendors located outside of Eastern Iowa that could be purchased in the region. Buyer-Supplier is a web based program for businesses that connects both buyers and sellers in Eastern Iowa to promote and facilitate regional purchasing.What can I shift?
Consider your product purchases as well as your service purchases. If you are a manufacturer, consider your components. And what about your consumable goods, like office and cleaning supplies, printed materials, and promotional specialties? Ask yourself, "Am I really doing business regionally?"
